Christ Church Episcopal Outreach
Inclusion Statement by the Wardens and Vestry September 9, 2006
Throughout the controversies in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion, Christ Church Episcopal has remained unwavering in its determination to provide a welcoming spiritual home to all persons of good will, regardless of race, gender, age, health status, or sexual orientation. We are committed to the principle that all Episcopalians are entitled to the fullest inclusion in all aspects and levels of the church—without any exceptions or reservations. As loyal, mainstream Episcopalians, we celebrate the enlightened, progressive spirit that has made our national church, The Episcopal Church USA, a world leader in the movement to eradicate discrimination in both religious and secular life. We pledge to continue to do all in our power to ensure that this noble effort continues.
